Description
Mabry Mill, a popular tourist attraction , is a water mill along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Built by Edwin Mabry in 1903, it was used as a blacksmith and wheelwright shop, a sawmill and in 1905 was operated as a gristmill. The site also serves as a historical exhibit about life in rural Virginia.

I voted this image in the Which Do You Prefer contest. I think this wider angle version shows the beautiful scenery and that interesting gristmill better than the closer version. LF
