A young Malayan Tiger cub entertains himself by chewing on a low hanging palm frond. This young fellow is one of 3 six month old cubs now residing at the Palm Beach Zoo.
The Malayan Tiger is native to the southern and central parts of the Malay Peninsula and was classified as critically endangered in 2015.
About Jo Ann Gregg
Born in New Jersey but transplanted to Florida at the age of three, I now reside in Jensen Beach, Florida. I consider myself an opportunistic photographer, attracted by the composition of nature: green leaves against the bright blue sky, a yellow leaf floating on the dark water of a stream - colors, textures, patterns, light and shadow, or an unexpected encounter.
