A miniature horse keeps a watchful eye on the photographer. This small beauty is part of a herd of wild miniature horses that resides at Grayson Highlands State Park, located in Grayson County, Virginia.
About Jo Ann Gregg
Born in New Jersey but transplanted to Florida at the age of three, I now reside in Jensen Beach, Florida. I consider myself an opportunistic photographer, attracted by the composition of nature: green leaves against the bright blue sky, a yellow leaf floating on the dark water of a stream - colors, textures, patterns, light and shadow, or an unexpected encounter. As I continue to study the art of photography, I try to find new ways to highlight and show the beauty of nature.
