Along an unpaved portion of old Route 66 in Oklahoma, a rusted truck sits in front of an abandoned farm building. Was it homesteaded? Who built it and why did they leave? A silent tribute to a time long past.
Born in New Jersey but transplanted to Florida at the age of three, I now reside in Jensen Beach, Florida. I consider myself an opportunistic photographer, attracted by the composition of nature: green leaves against the bright blue sky, a yellow leaf floating on the dark water of a stream - colors, textures, patterns, light and shadow, or an unexpected encounter. As I continue to study the art of photography, I try to find new ways to highlight and show the beauty of nature.
